Celebrating Pi Day by serving pie in North Central Arkansas branches.
FLIPPIN, Ark. – In recognition of Pi Day on Tuesday, March 14, Arvest Bank associates in North Central Arkansas will serve customers pie at local branches between the hours of 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Participating North Central Arkansas branches include: Mountain Home, Harrison, Yellville, Bull Shoals, Flippin and Lead Hill. As well as our branch in West Plains, Mo.
“Pi Day is always a fun day at work and we’re looking forward to sharing in that with our customers,” said Tiffany Watkins, assistant vice president and marketing director for Arvest Bank in North Central Arkansas. “For locals who are in the market for a new home, we also want to share with them that securing a mortgage loan with us is as ‘easy as pie.’”
The Greek letter for Pi is a mathematical symbol that represents a constant – the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter – which is approximately 3.14159. The annual observance of Pi Day on March 14 (3/14) worldwide represents the first three digits of that number.
